Second & Seneca Office Building, Seattle, WA

The face mix utilized a number of components which ensured that the precast blended with the granite cladding.

The original design had individual spandrels and column covers on the entire facade. Using value engineering techniques, Con-Force proposed combining these units into punched window panels, which greatly reduced the number of pieces to install, and resulted in a significant reduction in our project time.

Con-Force provided significant savings for the client in the structural framing of the glass dome, which encloses the heating and ventilating control equipment for the building. Curved post-tensioned precast concrete arch supports replaced the structural steel framing that was originally proposed.
